Q: What is your philosophy and how does that apply to the curriculum?
A: La Casita Verde offers a safe, healthy, and nurturing early childhood experience with a focus on the whole child. Our curriculum is child-centered and play-based, providing developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Q: What programs do you offer and what ages do you enroll?
A: We offer full-day, year-round infant, toddler, and preschool programs. We serve children as young as six weeks old to five years old.
Q: What are your expectations of parents?
A: Parents are encouraged and expected to participate in a variety of ways, including attending monthly parent meetings and semi-annual teacher conferences; participating in field trips; and helping with fundraising and community outreach events.
Q: Is there a waiting list?
A: The waiting list varies from as little as a month to up to several months.
Q: What about priority enrollment?
A: In order to fulfill our mission, priority enrollment is given to qualifying low-income families.
